William Troost-Ekong is expected to be available for Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin.
The centre-back underwent surgery in February for a bicep femoris injury.
Troost-Ekong sustained the injury at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The 30-year-old managed to play through the pain barrier at the competition where he scored three goals and was named Player of the Tournament.
The defender was expected to miss the remainder of the 2022/23 season but has make a quick recovery from the injury.
Troost-Ekong is now available for PAOK Salonica’s last three league games of the season. READ ALSO:

His return will be a big boost for the Super Eagles, who are yet to record a win in the qualifiers.
