Enyimba head coach coach, Finidi George is most likely to lead the Super Eagles for the friendlies against Ghana and Mali later this month.
The Super Eagles will tackle eternal rivals Ghana at the Grande de Marrakech on Friday, March 22.
The three-time African champions will be up against Mali four days later at the same venue.
The position of Super Eagles head coach is currently vacant after erstwhile handler, Jose Peseiro left the post following the expiration of his contract.
A new head coach is expected to be unveiled by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) next month.
“Except there is a change at the last minute, Finidi will take the team for the matches against Ghana and Mali,” one of the officials informed SCORENigeria READ ALSO:

“He assisted Peseiro and it is only reasonable that he continues where the Portuguese coach stopped at least for the time being.”
