By Noble Peters The meeting between the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Technical Committee and Super Falcons Technical Adviser, Thomas Dennerby in Abuja on Friday did not hold as scheduled.
The meeting billed for the Board Room of the NFF Glass House between the Committee members and the Swedish coach was called to harmonise the Super Falcons 2018 African Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) programmes.
Coach Dennerby had submitted the programme to the Federation for approval but the meeting was called off when it became glaring that members could not form a quorum.
But a worried Dennerby told Prompt News Online exclusively that he was disappointed that the meeting did not hold after he had prepared to defend his programme before the members, adding that his programme is already suffering a delay.
He opined that the Super Falcons is a work in progress hence the need to start preparation early for AWCON in order to pick a strong squad that can win the trophy again in December.
However Prompt News Online reliably learnt that the meeting has been rescheduled for next week although the specific day was not mentioned.
