Victor Osimhen is now in line to face the Bafana Bafana of South Africa after he was cleared by the team’s medics.
Osimhen failed to travel with his teammates to Bouake on Monday night due to abdominal discomfort.
Head coach Jose Peseiro failed to offer assurance on the Napoli forward’s availability for the game during his pre-match press conference earlier today.
“Until now, I cannot answer right because it is about health. This afternoon, I can know better if he can play or not,” Peseiro stated.
Osimhen is however now on his way to Bouake to join his teammates after the doctor’s clearance. READ ALSO:

The 25-year-old has scored one goal and registered one assist in five appearances for the Super Eagles at the ongoing AFCON 2023 finals.
The Super Eagles will have their final training session ahead of the game against the Bafana Bafana at the Stade Annexe, Bouake later tonight.
