There are indications that the immediate past Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, has returned to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
This is sequel to his unscheduled visit to the Presidential Villa on Friday where he met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja.
Dogara was led to Mr. President’s office by the Chairman of APC Caretaker/National Planning Committee and Governor of Yobe state, Mai Mala Buni, who appraised Buhari of the latest development in the ruling party.
The former Speaker did not however speak when requested by State House Correspondents.
But, Governor Buni confirmed that Dogara has become a member of the APC yet again.
Prompt News recalls that Dogara left the ruling APC for the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2018 and participated actively in the 2019 General Elections which returned him to the National Assembly on the ticket of PDP.
