Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi grabbed an assist as Everton beat West Ham United to record their first Premier League win of the season on Sunday, reports Promptnewsonline.com.
Iwobi set up Neal Maupay, who rifled home a half volley from the edge of the box in the 53rd minute to hand Frank Lampard’s side all three points in the encounter.
The 26-year-old has played every minutes of Everton’s six Premier League games this season.
The Nigeria international put up a fine display in the game maintaining his consistent form for the Toffees.
Everton occupy 13th position on the table with seven points from six games.
David Moyes’ West Ham remain 18th on the table.
