Nigerian singer and songwriter Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy has reacted to the ongoing nationwide hunger protest.
Nigerians hit the streets on Thursday to commence the nationwide protest slated to happen on the 1st of August to 10th of August.
The protesters expressed their dissatisfaction over bad governance and the hike in food prices by way of protest.
Taking to his official page on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, Burna Boy said that the fight in him for protest died on 20th of October, 2020 during the EndSARS protest.
He warned against anybody calling his name this time around that a protest is going on across the country.
He wrote, while quoting a tweet he posted on October 20, 2020, “The fight in me Died on this day. Ogun go doggy anybody wey call my name this time around.”
