The paramount ruler of Oka Akoko, in Akoko South Local Government Area of Ondo State, Oba Yussuf Adebori Adeleye, OON, in conjunction with Muslim clerics in his domain, prayed fervently during Sallah for the return of peace, security and prosperity to all parts of the country.
The revered Monarch and pious Muslim admonished faithful at the end of the 30-day Ramadan Fasting to “continuously be of good behavior, be their brothers and sisters’ keepers through charitable activities and work in concert for the over all development of Nigeria.”
HRM Oba Adeleye further stated that people should uphold and live by the great tenets of Islam, which is a way of peace and discipline.
The solemn congregational prayer held in Oka Akoko on Monday, May 02, was led the Chief Imam of Okaland, Sheik Muhammad Abubakar.
The respected Muslim leader also emphasized the place of righteousness and prayers in human affairs.
