The Federal Ministry of Education is deeply saddened by the passing of Professor Ismail Junaidu, Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC).
In a condolence message, the Minister of Education Professor Tahir Mamman said: “On behalf of the entire Ministry, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the NERDC and the family of Professor Junaidu during this difficult time.”
Professor Mamman described Professor Junaidu as a visionary leader and champion of education, whose dedication and passion made a lasting impact on the sector.
“His tireless efforts and commitment to excellence have left an indelible mark on our nation’s educational landscape”, Mamman further stated in a statement by Mrs Folasade Boriowo, the Ministry’s Director of Press and Public Relations on Tuesday.
The Minister then prayed for the repose of Professor Junaidu’s soul and comfort for his loved ones during this difficult time. READ ALSO:
