Abia Warriors Football Club of Umuahia Goalkeepers Coach, Fancy Ewulu has been honoured by an interdenominational group known as Global Apostolic Network during its October “Greater Works conference” for his contribution in various aspects of life.
Presenting the award to the coach at the FSP centre in Enugu, the President of the Group, Bishop Dr. Ikechukwu Umeayo said Mr. Ewulu deserved the award because of the positive changes he has brought to churches and communities around him adding that his unrelenting help to humanity in general has not gone unnoticed.
While wishing him the best in his future endeavours, Bishop Umeayo hoped the former Flying Eagles goalkeeper will not relent in his efforts to do greater works for mankind.
Receiving the award, an obviously elated Ewulu commended the group for recognizing his little efforts in making the world more conducive for people around him and promised that he will continue to show kindness to all irrespective of tribe or religion.
Mr. Ewulu, who was part of the Flying Eagles Coaching Crew that participated at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand earlier this year, also expressed his gratitude to the Abia Warriors family for the love they have shown him so far and promised that he will give his best to the club at all times.
