Nigerian singer Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has vowed to divorce his wife, Diane, if U.S. Vice President, Kamala Harris doesn’t defeat Donald Trump to win the upcoming presidential election.
The veteran singer made this known via a post on his official page on X (formerly Twitter), saying he would end his marriage of 47 years if Kamala Harris doesn’t win the election.
He wrote, “If dis my crush, Kamala Harris no win the USA presidential election, I swear, I go divorce my wife of 47yrs.
“After the first Black Male President, America deserves the first Black Female President. Sorry rednecks. Dats how we Roll.”
Recall that President Joe Biden on Sunday, announced that he was stepping down as the Democratic Party candidate due to health reasons and endorsed his vice, Kamala to become the party’s new candidate.
