At least 150 children from the Catholic Church of the Twelve Apostles Parish, Central Business District, Abuja participated in the full month summer holiday training program organised by the Children Ministry of the parish recently.
The training sessions which ran from 1st to 31st August, 2023 with the theme: “Exploring Music With Social Responsibilities”, exposed the participants to the applications of musical instruments such as the keyboard, guitar, violin and drums.
According to Lady Theresa Obieke, Lead Coordinator of Children Ministry, the facilitators of the program also took the participants on their social responsibilities, modelling, the Holy Family as well as Respect for constituted Authorities with emphasis on “Trust and Obedience”. READ ALSO:

She added that the children also got tutorials on how to turn waste to wealth skills in paintings, paper mashe, as well as making of air freshener, among others.
High point of the children and teens program were a guided trip to some IDP Camps in Abuja, film shows and debates.
