Nigerian champions Edo Queens will know their opponents in the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League on Friday (today).
The draw ceremony for the annual competition will hold at the Complex Mohamed VI in Salé, Morocco.
Edo Queens are among the five debutants that will take part in this year’s edition of the competition.
The other teams are; Aigles de la Medina (Senegal), University of the Western Cape (South Africa), Tutankhamun (Egypt), and CBE FC (Ethiopia).
They will join two-time winners Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), 2022 champions and hosts ASFAR (Morocco), as well as TP Mazembe (DR Congo) who are returning to the competition after missing the last edition in Cote d’Ivoire.
The final tournament will be held from November 9 to November 23, 2024.
