Edo Queens booked a spot in the semi-final of the CAF Women’s Champions League following a hard-earned 2-1 victory over holders Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Nigerian champions top Group B with seven points from three games.
Prompt News reports that Melinda Kgadiete put Sundowns ahead in the 28th minute.
Edo Queens missed the chance to equalise when Chioma Olise failed to convert from the spot on 53 minutes.
Emem Essien levelled scores for Moses Aduku’s side five minutes into stoppage time.
Substitute Mary Mamudu fired home the winning goal 11 minutes into stoppage time.
They will face TP Mazembe of Congo Democratic Republic in the semi-final.
