The Confederation of African Football – CAF has named Guinean official Naby Laye Toure as the referee for Sunday’s CAF Confederation’s Cup 2nd preliminary round 1st leg match between Etoile Filante De Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) and Rivers United FC (Nigeria), at the Yamoussoukro-Stade de Yamoussoukro, Cote D’Ivoire.
His compatriots, Mamady Tere as match Assistant Referee 1 and Moussa Traore as Assistant Referee 2.
Another Guinean, Abdoulaye Manet will serve as Fourth Official while Mamby Diaby from Mali will be the Match Commissioner.
The Etoile Filante vs Rivers United encounter is billed for 7pm local time (8pm) on Sunday 17th September 2023 in Yamoussoukro Cote D’Ivoire while the 2nd leg will hold at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium Rivers State on October Ist 2023. READ ALSO:
