Stanley Eguma remain optimistic on the chances of his side securing a place in the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup despite their 3-0 defeat to Club Africain on Wednesday night in Tunis.
The Port Harcourt dropped to third position in Group C and must now win their remaining two group games to earn a place in the knockout round.
Eguma during his interaction with the media after the game stated that his team will fight hard to qualify for the last eight.
“We are a good team despite our undoing today. On a good day we gave a very good account of ourselves and I believe that the future is still bright for us.
“We can go back and correct our mistakes and come out stronger in subsequent matches and before you know it, we will get there. I strongly believe that we will qualify from our group”, he said. READ ALSO:

Rivers United will take on Angola’s Academica do Lobito in their next game in the competition in February, 2024.
