To ensure that the wheel of government does not grind to a halt in the face of the stark economic challenges facing the country, President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the 2021 Supplementary Appropriation Bill into law Monday,
This cheering news was disclosed by the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the President on National Assembly (House of Representatives), Umar El-Yakub on Monday.
He said the total sum of the Supplementary Budget assented to by President Buhari is N982,729,695,343.
According to El-Yakub, who briefed State House Correspondents after the signing ceremony at Presidential Villa, Abuja, said the
Supplementary Appropriation Act will be largely focused on funding security and health concerns.
