The Council meeting was presided over by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, with more than 10 ministers absent.
Briefing State House correspondent after the poorly attended Cabinet meeting, the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, said the President would now be working from his residence.
According to him, the President needed some rest hence; all files on his table in the office would be moved to the residence for his attention.
Prompt News Online recalls that Mr. Buhari on arrival from his extended medical vacation in the United Kingdom on March 10, had said that he would soon return to London for follow-up checks with his Doctors.
However, weeks after his return, he’s yet to travel even though there are strong indications that his health is fast deteriorating.
Mr. Buhari has not been attending public functions since he returned from the UK except during Friday Jumat prayers.
Surprisingly, correspondents covering the State House have been barred from writing about the state of health of Mr. Buhari.
The correspondent for Punch Newspaper, Olalekan Adetayo, who wrote about the President’s ill health last Sunday, was quickly expelled from the Presidential Villa on Monday.
