BREAKING: Coronavirus spreads to Rivers as Nigeria cases rise to 51

Nigeria has recorded five new cases of Coronavirus codenamed Covid-19, bringing the total number as at Wednesday night to 51.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, “Five new cases of #COVID19 have been confirmed in Nigeria: 2 in FCT, 2 in Lagos & 1 in Rivers
“3 are returning travellers into Nigeria & 2 are close contacts of a confirmed case.
“As at 11:25 pm 25th March, there are 51 confirmed cases, 2 discharged, 1 death,” the Centre tweeted @NCDCgov.

Prompt News reports that some high profile Nigerians have tested positive for Covid-19 including the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari; Bauchi state Governor, Bala Mohammed and son of a former Vice President, Mohammed Atiku Abubakar.

In the same vein, some state governors are currently in self-isolation while expecting the results of tests being carried out by @NCDCgov.

The governors include: Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti, Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa, Mohammed Bello of Niger and Godwin Obaseki of Edo among others.

The good news is that President Muhammadu Buhari and his Vice, Yemi Osinbajo both tested negative for the Coronavirus. #Covid19Nigeria.
