Randy Waldrum, Nigeria’s Super Falcons head coach has lamented that the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, is frustrating the team’s preparations ahead of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup to be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
The Super Falcons are in Group B alongside one of the hosts, Australia, Republic of Ireland and Canada.
The tournament is billed to hold from July 20 to August 20, 2023.
“I have been frustrated with the federation (NFF) and the lack of support. We were supposed to have a camp in Nigeria for another 10 to 15 days, but the federation canceled the camp in Nigeria.
“I know we are prepared the way we need to be,” Brila FM quoted the American gaffer, Waldrum as saying in a chat with Sounding off on soccer with John Krysinsky.
