KRC Genk sporting director, Dimitri De Conde has declared the club will not sanction Tolu Arokodare’s sale in January.
Turkish side Trabzonspor made a concrete move to sign the Nigerian in the summer but had their offer rejected by the forward.
Prompt News reports that the 24-year-old has now been linked with a move to the Premier League.
De Conde stated that Smurfs will keep Arokodare at the club .
“I don’t know. The group of players knows that we want to keep everyone together. There is no agreement with any player that we will cooperate with a transfer in January if a good offer comes, which has been the case in the past,” he told TVL Sportscafe.
“Tolu is not allowed to leave. He is also very grateful to our trainer and will not leave Fink and Genk just like that.”
