Joseph Akpala will take temporary charge at Belgian Pro League outfit, KV Kortrijk pending the appointment of a substantive head coach.
Kortrijk have sacked their former head coach, Glen De Boeck and place Akpala in temporary charge of the team.
The 37-year-old will be managing the Guys for third time this season.
The former Super Eagles striker took charge of the team before the commencement of the 2023/24 season.
Akpala also took temporary charge of the team early in the season after Edward Still was sacked due to poor performance.
Kortrijk failed to win their opening eight games of the season under Still.

Kortrijk have recorded just two wins from 16 games this season. They are winless in their six games.
The Guys will host Westerlo in their next next league game on Friday (today).
