In a bid to avert the political landmines which have blown away the second term ambition of some of his colleagues, Ondo state Governor Rotimi Akeredolu says he has received President Muhammadu Buhari’s blessing for his re-election bid.
Gov. Akeredolu popularly called “Aketi” by his followers revealed this much after
emerging from a meeting with the President at the State House, Abuja on Tuesday just as he said he was prepared for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ondo state Governorship Primary Election whether direct or indirect model.
Gov. Akeredolu expressed his confidence that the people of Ondo state would return him to office because of his record of achievements in the last three and half years.
The Ondo state Chief Executive Officer was the second state governor to pay a courtesy visit to President Buhari today (Tuesday).
Prompt News reports that embattled Edo state Governor Godwin Obaseki was at the Presidential Villa earlier today to meet with Mr. President.
