Junior Olaitan has said the Cheetahs of Benin Republic are in Nigeria to beat the Super Eagles.
Gernot Rohr’s side arrived Uyo on Thursday for the clash with their neighbours.
The encounter is slated for the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
The Cheetahs defeated the Super Eagles 2-1 the last time both teams clashed in June.
Olaitan declared that they want to beat the Super Eagles in front of their fans.
“The team’s aim is to get the three maximum points in Nigeria. There is no doubt that it will be a tough game but we are prepared for what the Super Eagles will throw at us,” he told BSN Sports.
“We will build on the confidence on the victory in Abidjan in the last game between the two countries.
” To our advantage, we have a coach who know the strength and weakness of Super Eagles players.”
