Super Eagles assistant captain, William Troost-Ekong has said the team is adapting to the harsh weather condition in Abidjan.
Jose Peseiro’s men struggled under the hot Abidjan weather in their first game against Equatorial Guinea.
The coach also complained about the weather which according to him affected his team’s performance.
Troost-Ekong however insisted that they must be ready to live up with the challenge.
“The weather is harsh but is not affecting only us, it’s affecting the other teams too,” he said at a media parley in Abidjan on Tuesday.

“We have to brace up to the challenge and fight hard. We did well in the first game, just that we couldn’t wasted a lot of chances.
“We just have to work on that and keep the sport for the next game. I believe we will come out with a positive result.”
