Moses Simon was named Man of the Match after Nigeria’s hard-earned victory against the Palancas Negras of Angola on Friday.
The Super Eagles earned a place in the semi-final at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations following a 1-0 win against Angola.
Simon set up Ademola Lookman for the only goal of the game five minutes before the break.
It was the second time he will be winning the award at the 2023 AFCON finals.
It was Simon’s second assist of the competition.

The Super Eagles will face the winner of the game between Cape Verde and South Africa in the semi-final at the Stade la Paix Bouake on Wednesday.
