Nigeria defender, Calvin Bassey has been named in the Best X1 for the Round of 16 of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Bassey is the only Nigerian player in the squad compiled by

The former Ajax player starred in Super Eagles’ impressive 2-0 victory over the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon last weekend.
