The Nigeria Premier Football League matchday 15 tie between Shooting Stars Rivers United has been postponed.
According to a letter from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), the postponement was necessitated by the involvement of Rivers United in continental duties.
The letter, dated 12th December, 2023 and signed by Davidson Owumi, the Chief Operating Officer of the league organising body, stated that a new date will be announced later.
With this development, Shooting Stars’ next engagement will be a matchday 16 tie away to eternal rivals, Rangers International of Enugu on Thursday, December 28.
Shooting Stars lost 3-2 to Abia Warriors at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Sunday.
