The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) says six person sustained various degrees of injury in a lone accident in Wuya village of Bida Local Government Area of Niger.
Mr Kumar Tsukwam, the state Sector Commander, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Minna on Tuesday that a commercial bus involved was loaded with 10 passengers.
Tsukwam said that the accident occurred on Monday at about 5.50 p.m., explaining that the accident involved a bus marked SHA- 707 XH.
“Ten people were involved in the mishap, six people sustained injuries and four others unhurt.
“The injured person were taken to Federal Medical Centre, Bida, for treatment,” he said.
The sector commander blamed the accident on speeding and loss of control.
He advised motorists to exercise caution and adhere strictly to speed limits to avoid crashes.
The road safety boss said that the corps would continue to monitor road users to guard against dangerous driving.(NAN)
