Super Falcons interim head coach Justin Madugu is upbeat the team will get the better of Ethiopia in the second leg of their Olympic Games second round qualifier.
The nine-time African champions held the Ethiopians to a 1-1 draw in the first leg at the Abebe Bekila Stadium, Addis Ababa on Wednesday afternoon.
Birkie Amare gave Ethiopia the lead in the sixth minute, while Rasheedat Ajibade equalised for the Super Eagles six minutes after the break.
“It wasn’t an easy game, because the Ethiopians also ensured they got something from the game. We came to win, but it didn’t come out as expected,” the gaffer said during his post match interaction with the media.
“We will ensure we get a better result at home.” READ ALSO:
