Rasheedat Ajibade is upbeat the Super Falcons will earn a place in the final round of the qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games.
Randy Waldrum’s side will host the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in the second leg of their third round tie at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Monday (today).
Both teams battled to a 0-0 draw in the first leg in Douala last Friday.
“Our objective remains getting the Olympics ticket,” Ajibade told thenff.com.
“Personally, I have never played at the Olympics and that is the case with an overwhelming majority of players in this team.
“We are determined to take this opportunity. We have another 90 minutes to make our claim to the final-round ticket and we are focused on a positive result.”
The overall winners of this third round tie will face the winners between South Africa and Tanzania to play off for a place at the summer Olympics. READ ALSO:
