Reigning Nigeria Professional Football League ( NPFL) champions, Enyimba International Football Club of Aba have acquired the services of former Heartland FC and Abia Warriors’ Coach, Chijioke Osuagwu.
Enyimba now led by former Nigerian International, Nwankwo Kanu are currently beefing up both on the level of technical bench and the playing staff, for their current Champions League and the upcoming league campaigns.
An official with the Aba Elephants as Enyimba are called, confirmed to journalists Wednesday, that Osuagwu has joined the team after his appointment letter has been signed and handed over to him in Aba.
Osuagwu was also sighted as Enyimba had their first walkout at the Aba Stadium on Thursday, after returning from their first-leg CAF Champions League game in Libya.
Known to have produced many grassroot players who went ahead to represent Nigeria locally and internationally, Osuagwu later made history by qualifying Abia Warriors to the Premier League for the first time after many years of unsuccessful effort. READ ALSO:
